Passionate supporters of the pop star are urging that a man who jumped a fence and grabbed the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the individual from Australia bypassing photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors walked down a promenade accompanied by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being arrested", though official papers showed that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram account includes videos of him disturbing other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney concert in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last December.

"Measures must be taken taken against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user wrote.

Fans Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the finale of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote a further comment on Instagram.

Some fans also criticised event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals demanded digital services to ban Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande appeared shocked when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.
