Orbital photography taken on 26 October appeared to confirm that killings were also conducted on the roads of el-Fasher, as reported by a report published by the academic research center.
A key witness who provided testimony said the individual had observed "multiple of our family members being killed - the victims were gathered in a specific area and each one eliminated."
Paramilitary Officers Attempt to Implement Reputation Management
In the days that came after the massacre, militia chief admitted that his forces had committed "wrongdoings" and said the events would be investigated.
Included among arrested was following a investigation detailing his killings. Deliberately choreographed and produced footage published on the RSF's authorized social media channel depict the individual being led into a prison room at a detention facility on the outskirts of al-Fashir.
