UK Minister for Culture to Convene Meeting on Maccabi Tel Aviv Supporters Prohibition
A law enforcement official from the West Midlands has called for an urgent review of the decision to prohibit the Israeli team's fans from attending the forthcoming game.
The commissioner, who oversees the force, states that this appeal aims to determine whether the prohibition is suitable, necessary, warranted, reasonable, and a balanced measure to accomplish a lawful objective.
"This must include consideration of all and any possible appropriate, alternative options," Foster emphasizes.
He has also asked to review the written decision and suggestion from the safety committee, as well as the law enforcement evaluation.
He stresses, though, that the final decision belongs to the committee and the police.
